Is NYSVMS aware of State Bill A00830, which prohibits tying, tethering, restraining, caging or penning of dogs outdoors between the hours of 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.?

Yes, we are aware of State Bill A00830. It has been proposed in the Assembly several years in a row, but has never gone anywhere. If and when there is any movement, NYSVMS would oppose the bill; we think it is unlikely that this year will be any different from the others, however.
